We are located on the eastern end of Michigan's pristine Upper Peninsula. Sage River Outfitters has been specializing in close range guided black bear hunts in Luce, Chippewa, and Mackinac counties since 1996. We offer black bear hunting over bait only, and are careful to set our baits far enough away from dog hunters to ensure your hunt is not interrupted by those hunters who utilize dogs during their hunt.

There are a limited number of openings for guided services and we take hunters on a first come, first serve basis. We have had many inquiries regarding guided whitetail deer hunts. So, new for the first time in 2008, Sage River Outfitters will be offering guided whitetail deer hunts.
